The Carpenter’s Cabin sits tucked into the pines on 32 private wooded acres in Hocking Hills. Designed across four levels, the cabin blends bold architecture with spaces made for gathering, from the conversation pit at the heart of the main living area to the screened third-story deck, private hot tub, fire pit, and The Nest outdoor dining deck with its elevated hammock lounge. Private trails wind through the property, making it easy to spend as much time outside as in.

At the center of the main level is the cabin’s signature conversation pit. It’s a natural gathering place for morning coffee, movies, games, and late-night conversation. The open kitchen and dining area sit just beyond it, keeping everyone connected while meals are prepared or the day winds down.

The cabin sleeps up to 10 guests in seven real beds. Two queen bedrooms provide private sleeping spaces, while the main-floor bunk room, lower-level bunk room, and loft twin sleeping alcove give families and groups room to spread out. Three full bathrooms serve the cabin’s four levels. A high chair and pack-n-play are provided for the littlest guests.

The lower level offers another place to gather, with a media room, full bathroom, bunk room, and direct access to the hot tub and patio. Upstairs, the loft includes a library, queen bedroom, coffee station, and access to the screened third-story deck. One level higher, The Perch creates a small fourth-story hideaway above the loft.

Outside, The Nest extends the living space into the forest with a dining deck, built-in seating, and an elevated hammock lounge. Nearby are the wood-burning fire pit and Jaybird children’s fort. The hot tub sits behind the cabin just off the patio and our the French doors from the Lower Level suite. Three covered decks provide additional places to enjoy the outdoors.

The property’s private trails wind throughout the 32 wooded acres, offering room to explore without leaving the property. Despite the secluded setting, The Carpenter’s Cabin is within easy reach of Hocking Hills hiking, attractions, dining, and nearby towns.

The cabin also includes Wi-Fi, a full-size washer and dryer, organic linens and bath products, and thoughtfully selected furnishings throughout.
